The event was put together to encourage knitters to use their left over sock yarn by
combining different colors to create the craziest pair of socks. Pass the word to your
friends, neighbors and relatives. The more the merrier!

To qualify as a CRAZY SOCKS Knitter:
You have to use your left-over sock yarn (you know, what you have left and don't know
what to do with it. Create or use an existing sock pattern (respect the copyright by giving
credit).

What is required? 1.   Take a picture of your leftover yarn stash
2.   Take pictures at the cast on stage; half way and of course the finished product.
3.   A copy of your pattern and if you remember, the names of the different yarns used
4.   After being judged, we will post your Crazy Sock Picture online in order of
      first, second and third place

Prizes will awarded on the following criteria:
1.   Best original pattern
2.   Best yarn/color arrangement
3.   Most funky pattern
4.   Craziest looking colors
5.   Ugliest CRAZY SOCKS

You can sign up in one of three ways.
1.   Send an email to Deluxe Yarns. Subject Crazy Socks
2.   Stop by the store and sign up there
3.   Send a postcard to the address at the bottom of this page.(email is faster)
Make sure to include all of the required information. Incomplete sign ups will not be eligable.

Time Limit: Starts February 14th, 2008 and Ends March 25th, 2008
Submit all pictures of finished project by March 25th, 2008 by either postal mail or you
can also attach them in an email.
Judging will be April 7th, 2008
Winners will be notified by email or phone and winners name will be posted by April 11, 2008
Please put your name and address on the back of all your pictures; email address
and phone number
Prizes will be a combination of several knitting surprises
This is a fun contest and a great way to use up that yarn that's just laying around.
